Arenal Volcano Hike & Titoku

 A "must do"
tour in Arenal for sure. Beautiful and impressive Arenal Volcano will amuse you
from the beginning of the trip. Our attentive personnel will wait for you at
the hotel lobby to lead you to one of our comfortable vans with air
conditioning. During the transfer to the trail, which takes about 10 to 30
minutes depending of the hotel location, our guide will talk briefly about the
tour itinerary and explain you with detail some really interesting data, about
the volcano and the area in general as well. 

When arriving to place
for the hike in the trail, we will prepare ourselves: repellent, sun block
lotion, a bottle of water (included) and a quick visit to the restrooms of the
place, are some recommendations for you to enjoy with comfort the tour. All
ready, we'll walk through different scenarios with variable kinds of vegetation
where we’ll have the chance to meet the local fauna.  

You will also stand at
a viewpoint incredibly close to the volcano and step on ancient lava flows
turned into to stone. The guide will do he's best to give you catching and interesting
information about the place, the hiding fauna among the trees and bushes and of
course about the Arenal Volcano, so the 2 or 2 and a half hours of trail will
be really entertaining.  

At the end of the
hike, a little bit tired, we will drive you about 20 to 25 minutes to the
Ecotermales Fortuna hot springs facility, so you can relax in the pools and
choose among the different temperatures the one that makes you feel better. We
recommend trying the hot water pools and the switch to a cold water pool; you
can do this many times if you like, it will relax and restore your body in a
surprising way.  

At Titoku Hot Springs
you will find a luxurious facility of eight pools built as a natural jacuzzi.
The top pool is the warmest; from here, water cascades down a series of
boulders, flowing from spring to spring and decreasing in temperature. Each
pool can be safely accessed using the stairs and handrails and is equipped with
colorful ambient light during the evening.  

Lush gardens surround
the pools and provide them with a pleasant, forested atmosphere. There is both
indoor and outdoor seating as well as a full-service bar. The bar offers a
wonderful assortment of beers, wines and cocktails, and even a sampling of food
items if you want to buy something before dinner. Additionally, there is a
changing room with lockers and showers. 

After a relaxing bath
we’ll drive for dinner at Heliconias Restaurant, this place is located on the
third floor of the Arenal Kioro property and bless with an excellent volcano
view. It is decorated with tropical flowers from their very own gardens and beautiful
coral stones tables.  

At last, once you are
relaxed and satisfied we'll drive you back to your hotel, so you can rest as
never before. Night-night!
